The annual Continental Club Football Competition will be a major feature in the upcoming FIFA 19.

The latest news on the upcoming FIFA 19 will be the inclusion of UEFA Champions League. The Continental Club Football Competition has been requested by fans for quite some time, and EA is delivering. It’s a great time to be a fan of Football (Soccer for some of you), and the addition of the UEFA Champions League will allow fans to play through the competition in both its single player campaign featuring Alex Hunter, and the multiplayer side of things.

The partnership between UEFA and Konami ended back in April of this year, meaning that FIFA rival game Pro Evolution Soccer would lose one of its main draws. Combining the main features of Professional Football, FIFA 19 will now allow players to carry their team through the club season of the Premier League, through to the UEFA Champions League.

Speaking to Football news site Goal.com, FIFA 19 executive producer Aaron McHardy explained that the addition of the UEFA Champions League was a long process, “This has been one of the most requested features from our players for over a decade, and for us the Champions League is so much more than a licence, we’ve been working really hard to integrate the experience across the game in FIFA 19 and I don’t say that lightly.”

We’re expecting the usual gameplay and graphical upgrades that EA manages to put out each year, but without a doubt the main improvement for FIFA 19 is the addition of the UEFA Champions League. The game itself is scheduled for release on September 28 of this year, and we look forward to getting our hands on the action.
