E3 2018 has come and gone with a lot to show for it, but even despite the cornucopia of new gaming, did Fortnite steal the show with multiple announcements and events, and is E3 losing its identity to changes? Host Mandie Roman Roman discusses these topics with an expert panel of guests including Markeia McCarty of Marvel Movie News and Marcus Beer aka The Annoyed Gamer
The show kicks off with a big discussion of who did well and who did not so well at E3. The panelists discuss Bethesda, EA, Microsoft, and others and share their opinions on how these various shows played out. Beyond the regular press conferences, the panelists also discussed the elephant that was Fornite, which became available on Nintendo as well as holding an esports event during E3 which drew in nearly 2 million viewers.

After the discussion of content at the show, the panel moves on to its execution. The panelists, who have attended E3 for years, speak to the nature of the second year inviting the public into E3. While it was undoubtedly good for overall attendence numbers, E3 2018 found itself with an all new set of problems. Panelists discuss the issues they saw which pulled away from the novelty and magic of the show, along with utterly inexcusable situations that simply can't go unaddressed in the next E3.
