Red Reserve was able to defeat Luminosity in the losers bracket final to set u a rematch with Rise Nation in the grand final of CWL Anaheim, as Rise Nation had defeated Red Reserve in the winners bracket final.

After three days of intense Call of Duty action, Rise Nation and Red Reserve remained as the last two teams standing for CWL Anaheim. The CWL Anaheim grand final saw a rematch of the winners bracket final, as Rise Nation had defeated Red Reserve 3-2 in an back and forth series that sent Red Reserve to the losers bracket final. However, the European team had revenge on their mind and were able to defeat Luminosity in the losers bracket final to secure a spot in the grand final of CWL Anaheim against Rise Nation.

With Rise Nation looking to capture its third CWL open event championship of the 2018 CWL season, Red Reserve looking to capture its first championship of the season and the lion's share of the $200,000 prize pool on the line, there was plenty of pressure for both talented teams heading into the grand final of CWL Anaheim.

Red Reserve came out firing in the first best-of-five series in the grand finals of CWL Anaheim, as the European roster would secure a 3-1 victory to force a bracket reset and a second best-of-five in the CWL Anaheim grand finals. However, the winners bracket champions of Rise Nation would not let the early setback affect them. The defending CWL Open Event Champions would go on to secure a 3-1 series win to collect the CWL Anaheim Championship.

With the victory, Rise Nation collected the $80,000 grand prize and secured a second straight CWL championship and third overall for the 2018 CWL Season and continued to cement Rise Nation's spot as the top team in professional Call of Duty for Call of Duty: WWII. Pierce "Gunless" Hillman also secured his second MVP award of the season to continue to show the payoff of his addition to the roster earlier in the year.

Now Rise Nation will be looking to add even more championships to their collection heading into the CWL Pro League Stage 2 Playoffs and the CWL Championship later this year.
