One of the first major announcements to come out of TennoCon 2018 was that Warframe will be coming to the Nintendo Switch thanks to a partnership with Panic Button.

The third annual convention for the popular looter shooter of Warframe is currently underway, and one of the first major announcements to be revealed is that Warframe will be coming to the Nintendo Switch thanks to a partnership with developer Panic Button.

Panic Button is well known for their successful Nintendo Switch ports of DOOM, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus and Rocket League, so it is not surprising to see Digital Extremes seek out the help of Panic Button for developing the port of Warframe for the Nintendo Switch.

Panic Button had teased another major announcement regarding a Nintendo switch port this month, but it was not until today that the community was able to see that it would be the looter shooter of Warframe.

Warframe was originally released on PC in 2013 and was sonn released the Playstation 4 and Xbox One after. Digital Extremes has since updated the game with multiple expansion, updates and pieces of content that have kept players coming back to Warframe over the years. Now owners of the Nintendo Switch will be able to enjoy the adrenaline pumping action that the sci-fi title provides.

The free to play title allows players to take control of powerful characters named Tenno who are ancient warriors that have been awoken from cyro-sleep by the mysterious entity and your guide, the Lotus. With 35 Warframes to play as, massive open worlds, hundreds of weapons, a fully fleshed out customization system and much more, Panic Button will be bringing a title full of content to the Nintendo Switch.

At the time of this writing, no information regarding a release date for the title from Digital Extremes and Panic Button on the Nintendo Switch has been announced.
