Defending Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) Major champions Cloud9 and its roster is currently going through a major revamp of its roster, as Tarik "tarik" Celik has recently left the team to join fellow former Cloud9 player Jacky " Stewie2K" Yip on the roster of MIBR.
Cloud9 is now only left with three of its five players who were able to lead the team to capture the ELEAGUE Boston Major Championship and will need to find two players to field a full roster for the upcoming FACEIT London Major.
However, one well known member of the CS:GO community has offered his services to play as a stand-in for Cloud9 at the FACEIT London Major. Controversial CS:GO streamer and former professional player Mohamad "m0E" Assad posted on his Twitter account that he would be "open to the idea of being Cloud9's stand-in for the Major".
officially announcing that i will be open to the idea of being @Cloud9 stand in for the major. I will also be donating my cut of sticker money/ prize to a charity of the communities choice. https://t.co/Yz01WUTh7k

M0E also stated that he would donate all of his earnings from his cut of the sticker and prize money that he would earn playing for Cloud9 at the FACEIT London Major to a charity of the CS:GO community's choice.
The controversial member of the community has experience playing CS:GO at the professional level as a stand-in for Team Liquid and as apart of Echo Fox back in 2016, but many see m0E playing for the organization at the major as a far fetched idea. However, with the Major roster lock rules barring any players who have competed in the earlier qualifications for the event from playing on another team, the list of available players for Cloud9 to use for the FACEIT London Major has been cut short dramatically.
Do you think that Cloud9 should take a serious look at having m0E play for its CS:GO team at the upcoming FACEIT London Major? Let us know in the comments below!
