ESL One Katowice is one of the major events in the DOTA 2 pro circuit and fans are not pleased with how many matches will be played live.

ESL One Katowice will be taking place in the Spodek arena 10 days from now and it was promising to be one of the biggest DOTA 2 events of the year. An announcement made by ESL on their Twitter account may have caused the excitement for the event to decrease though.

The schedule for the main event shows that the Spodek arena will only be used for two days out the five day tournament and will only play host to four live matches, even though there 16 teams competing at the event.

The Spodek Arena has played host to many major esports events in the past.

This news has upset the DOTA 2 community in a major way and members are not holding back their disappointment and anger towards ESL for creating a schedule that will only be broadcasting four live matches of a 16 team, million-dollar tournament.  The community was expecting much more from the seasoned esports tournament organizer in making a great live event for everyone attending in Katowice and those watching from home.

It is highly unlikely that ESL will be able to change the scheduling of the tournament with it only being 10 days away, but with the massive outcry from the community it will not be shocking to see ESL respond to the criticism publicly.
