Who won the Fortnite Tournament today? IDropz_Bodies was able to put together a solid day of Fortnite on his way to securing the top spot in the Summer Skirmish 500K solo tournament standings.

Friday, July 20th saw the first day of Week 2 of the Fortnite Summer Skirmish Series kick off with a 500K solo tournament that featured a vast array of high profile players from the Fortnite community and a group of players who were selected based on their strong performances in the Solo Showdown Limited Time Mode. After each player completed 10 public matches, Solo Showdown player iDropz_Bodies was able to climb to the top of the Fortnite Summer Skirmish 500K solo tournament standings with 184 total points. iDropz_Bodies also took home the achievement of securing the most eliminations of any player in the event to take home a bonus prize of $50,000 in addition to his grand prize of $60,000.

Week 2 of the Fortnite Summer Skirmish Series saw a much different format than Week 1, as each of the competing players played 10 public matches. A Victory Royale was worth five points and an elimination was worth one point with the winner of the Fortnite Summer Skirmish 500K solo tournament being determined by which player had the most points after their 10 matches. 10 points and a bonus of $10,000 were also up for grabs for players who were able to secure 20 or more eliminations in a match.

Fortnite streamer WishYouLuck posted a video addressing the controversy, while Team SoloMid player Ali "Myth" Kabbani and streamer Ben "DrLupo" Lupo also gave their thoughts on the situation regarding iDropz_Bodies.

Other individuals and iDropz_Bodies defending his performance stating that he did not have a PC and is not a Twitch partner, so he had method to implement a stream delay or stream at all. The Fortnite Summer Skirmish 500K solo tournament champion iDropz_Bodies also posted a Tweet stating that he was not using a keyboard and mouse on console and that he had saved all of his replays from the event, so he would not be able to get any cheating past Epic Games.
