The Arena of Valor World Cup is nearing its conclusion as Thailand solidifies their spot in the finals after beating Korea 3-0. They will face either Chinese Taipei or Korea once more.

It has been a tremendous day in the world of esports across multiple games, but one of the more intriguing sets was the semi-finals for the Arena of Valor World Cup. Aggression was the name of the game in these matches, as there were several Aces, where an entire team was wiped out at once, something that had yet to happen in the group stages. Thailand was able to dominate throughout, ending the night with a bit of flair.

In the last match of the night, Korea vs Thailand, we saw Thailand keep their opponents around for the late game, which goes against the aggressive trends seen throughout the World Cup, but has worked really well for Thailand. Then, just as it seemed Korea would rally to push into another game, Thailand’s Remix avoided the team fight to land the final blow to the Core. The cameras were just settling on the upcoming fight, when all of a sudden, Remix was at the enemy base in a scuffle with Chaser who was unable to stop the onslaught.

Thailand will face whoever wins during the next match on Saturday evening between Chinese Taipei and Korea. Will Korea get to come back to enact revenge on Thailand for this recent stomping? Or will Chinese Taipei be able to claw their way back from the loser bracket for the victory?

It’s all going down on the official Arena of Valor Twitch page.
