Black Ops 4 operator mods allow players to equip powerful bonuses to their weapons that allow them to utilize unique buffs and make them much more powerful. If you are curious to how operator mods Black Ops 4 work, we have all of the current information that has been made available by Treyarch through the Private Beta.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Operator Mods
Players can view the mod for each weapon under the stats listed under each weapon that is available in the beta for Black Ops 4. Not every weapon in the beta for Black Ops 4 has an operator mod, so it is unconfirmed if every weapon in the upcoming entry in the Call of Duty franchise will have a mod available for players to use.
From adding a new fire rate option to certain weapons to allowing incendiary rounds to be fired from a shotgun, the Black Ops 4 operator mods can grant a distinct advantage for players over their enemies.
The following steps are what players must follow in order to equip the mods to their Black Ops 4 weapons.
1. An operator mod can only be equipped to a weapon that has reached max level.
2. Once a weapon has reached max level, players need to head over to the Wildcard section of the weapons menu that is currently available in the beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.
3. Operator mods can be equipped to either your primary or secondary weapon, so you will need to make your way to which specific operator mod you are wanting to equip.
4. You will then add either the primary or secondary weapon operator mod wildcard to your weapon.
5. You will then be able to add the operator mod in the attachments section of the weapon you are using. The Black Ops 4 operator mod will take up two attachment slots for the weapon that it is equipped for.

With the powerful bonuses that the Black Ops 4 operator mods add to weapons, it will be interesting to see if the players of the professional Call of Duty scene will agree upon a gentlemen's agreement or if the Call of Duty World League will apply a ban to the mods in the same way that has been done to other items that have been seen as too powerful and not fit for competitive play.
