Tuesday, August 14th saw esports industry leaders Infinite Esports and Entertainment and OpTic Gaming announce a new virtual reality esports clubhouse in collaboration with the social virtual reality organization of Sansar. This first-of-its-kind virtual reality space will be known by the name of Greenwall VR in order to pay homage to the passionate fanbase that roots for OpTic Gaming and its professional teams that compete in League of Legends, Call of Duty, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Overwatch, Gears of War, DOTA 2 and other titles.
The Greenwall VR experience will allow members of the Greenwall fanbase of OpTic Gaming to interact with one another, OpTic Gaming staff and players from all across the world.
“With fans and teams based all over the world, we wanted to create a truly immersive way for our community to come together as the Greenwall and feel like they’re a part of something bigger,” said Oslo Green, VP of VR at OpTic Gaming. “By introducing virtual reality to esports spectatorship, we’re taking the first steps into creating a grander, more immersive, and more modern approach to traditional sports fandom, community and interaction.”
PC owners of the Greenwall fandom can experience the Greenwall VR experience from OpTic Gaming and Sansar completely free. All fans have to do in order to jump into the revolutionary esports virtual reality space is visit the official website of Sansar that can be found here.
Participating in the GreenWall VR experience that is the result of the partnership between OpTic Gaming and Sansar will give fans of the veteran esports organization access to watch games together, communicate with fellow fans from all around the world, submit fan art of their favorite OpTic Gaming players and teams, the ability to purchase team merchandise in virtual reality, communicate directly with their favorite OpTic Gaming players and participate in exclusive Greenwall VR events.

Some of the first events that fans can attend watch parties for in the Greenwall VR experience from OpTic Gaming and Sansar will be for the 2018 Call of Duty World League Championship, North American League Championship Series, Gears of War Pro Circuit Fight Night and other competitions.
