Martin "Chino" Chino has seen a great deal of success in the 2018 Call of Duty World League season and credits Lamar "Accuracy" Abedi of Team Kaliber and Nicholas "Classic" DiCostanzo of Team Envy for their help.

Call of Duty: WWII has been a title of success for Chino of Team Envy's Chino, as he has secured two LAN championships at CWL Dallas and CWL New Orleans to begin the 2018 Call of Duty World League season and has now secured a top six placing at the 2018 CWL Championship.

In addition to his two championships, Chino also was able to secure the Astro Gaming MVP award for his performance at CWL New Orleans and continue to show that he a top player in professional Call of Duty with a treasure trove of accomplishments to his name.

Twin Galaxies was able to catch up with Chino after he and the rest of Team Envy defeated Ghost Gaming 3-1 in round 2 of the winners bracket for CoD Champs 2018 and get his thoughts on the successful year he has had.

"This will probably be the best that I have ever had. I've won two tournaments this year and have gotten top six at champs. It's just great. I've gone through a lot of struggles in my career just trying to find teammates, and now I feel like this year I have had good teammates all year, and it has shown how good I can really be," said Chino.

While Chino has played at a high level throughout the 2018 CWL season for Call of Duty: WWII, the Team Envy player credited his former Team Kaliber teammate of Accuracy and his current teammate of Classic in helping him find the large amount of success he has seen this year.

"I'd say for TK it was Accuracy one hundred percent. He is great leader, great person and taught me a lot in how to be a better teammate and how to teach your teammates about their mistakes and how to come at it a better way," Chino continued. "On Envy I'd say Classic. He is just a good dude. He understands the game really well just like Accuracy but takes a different approach to try and help you. They are both just really good players who help you to get better."

Flashy stats are always a headliner when it comes to deciding who are the best players, but Chino explained that Classic affects the game in ways that might not be as noticed as the main statistics, but are just as important in helping Chino and the rest of Team Envy find success.

"He is like Theory (Dylan McGee of Lighting Pandas) and Prestinni (Preston Sanderson of eUnited). He is the guy that is first in always. He'll bait for you. He doesn't care. He is extremely good at teaching people and can see the mistakes after he goes first," said Chino. "He will be like 'If I go in, here is what you guys need to do this and this for me'. I feel like that is one thing he does very well that a lot of people don't see."

Team Envy will need the top talent of Chino and the leadership of Classic if it wants to secure its second CWL Championship title in three years this weekend.
