Fans of competitive Pokemon play will have plenty to look forward to this coming weekend, as the 2018 Pokemon World Championships will be taking place from Friday, August 24th to Sunday, August 26th. Taking place in Nashville, Tennessee, the action will be broadcasted from four different Twitch channels that will feature competitive play from different Pokemon games.
The 2018 World Championships for the popular Nintendo franchise will see the world's best video game and trading card players from more than 35 different countries competing against one another for more than $500,000 in scholarship money, prizes and the prestigious title of World Champion.
