During the Gamecom 2018 presentation for Cyberpunk 2077, developer CD PROJEKT RED revealed that a former professional Counter-Strike player was helping in the development of the title's shooting mechanics.

Cyberpunk 2077  is currently one of the most anticipated video game titles the industry has seen in some time. While no official release date for the first person shooter and role playing game hybrid has been announced by developer CD PROJEKT RED, players are extremely excited to experience the action and universe that Cyberpunk 2077 promises to deliver to the world of gaming.

Even though fans of Cyberpunk 2077 do not currently know when they will be able to play the upcoming title officially they can take pleasure in the fact that the shooting mechanics for the future based title will be of the highest quality.

The reasoning for this is that CD PROJEKT RED announced during its Gamescom 2018 presentation for Cyberpunk 2077 that a former Counter-Strike professional player has been working with the development team to create superb gun gameplay for players, according to a report by comicbook.com.

Lukasz “Luq” Wnek has been helping the CD PROJEKT Team create and fine-tune the shooting mechanics of Cyberpunk 2077 and his resume as a successful professional Counter-Strike player points to him being a perfect choice for the job. Luq was a member of the Polish group of players known as the Golden Five, who are regarded as one of the very best teams to play professional Counter-Strike, and has nine championships to his name.

The RPG element of Cyberpunk 2077 is one of its driving forces, but with the gameplay of the title being exclusively first person, it looks as though CD PROJEKT RED decided that having an extremely accomplished professional player in one of the most popular and skilled based first person shooter games in history would help in the creation of a high quality gameplay system that saw top notch shooting mechanics.

Fans got their first taste of what the shooting mechanics for Cyberpunk 2077 will look like thanks to the help of former Counter-Strike professional player Luq on Monday, August 27th as CD PROJEKT RED revealed the gameplay demo that was shown off at E3 2018 to the general public for the first time.

With a setting and story that promises unique and exciting adventures and shooting mechanics that have been worked on by a former professional Counter-Strike player, Cyberpunk 2077 is shaping up to be one of the very best games to be released in some time.
