How To Play Battlefield 5 Open Beta

EA has given us a ton of new information on what we can expect to play with during the Battlefield 5 Open Beta, with weapons, maps, and more.

The Battlefield 5 Open Beta is coming soon, and while we already knew when we would be getting our hands on the game, exactly what we would be playing still remained a mystery, until now that is. An announcement post made today from EA / Dice has revealed the game types and maps that we can test out, as well as the classes, weapons, and gadgets that we’ll be using. To start with, we’ll be doing battle on two maps, Rotterdam and Arctic Fjord, in two game modes, Grand Operations and Conquest. Conquest is fairly straightforward to fans of previous Battlefield games, while Grand Operation is a more expanded version of the Operations game mode from Battlefield 1. In Grand Operation, players will be able to try out the Airborne and Breakthrough game types.

For vehicles, we’re going to see a ton of action in the beta. There will be five tanks and seven aircraft to play with, including the Valentine Mk VIII, Churchill Mk VII, Churchill Gun Carrier, Panzer IV, and the Tiger I on the ground, and the Spitfire Mk VA, Spitfire Mk VB, Blenheim Mk IF, Bf 109 G-2, Ju 87 Stuka B-2, Ju 87 Stuka B-1, and the C47 in the air.

There are also a ton of ton of weapons available to play with during the beta, with several locked to specific classes, and several secondary and throwable weapons crossing classes.

EA has also revealed the minimum specs needed to run the game, and the recommended specs on PC.
