The FIFA 19 demo releases today and if you're wondering when you can get your hands on it, we've got everything you need to know for FIFA 19 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Every year, about two weeks before the full game releases, players eagerly anticipate the FiFA 19 demo. Today’s finally the day players on PS4, Xbox One and PC can try out the game publically for the first time.

When does the FIFA 19 demo come out?

So far, EA Sports haven’t given an exact time of release and previous demos have launched between 6PM and 8PM BST (10AM PDT/1PM EDT/3AM AEST) but some keen eyed fans have spotted some clues to when it’ll be available for download.

Castro, popular FIFA streamer, told his fans that it could arrive around 3PM BST. That claim is backed up by comments on the FIFA subreddit that explain a PS Store video indicates a 3PM launch time too. It’s not confirmed but at the time of posting, that’s only around two hours away so there’s not long to go.

How to download the FIFA 19 demo

Downloading it is simple. Navigate to your preferred store, then simply type in FIFA 19. The demo should be listed and if it's not, click on the main game and it should be listed as one of the relevant products or add-ons.

What's included in the FIFA 19 demo?

The demo is the same as the one provided at Gamescom 2018 last month so if you were there, unfortunately there won’t be any new content for you to get your hands on. It also means we know the teams for definite:

  • Juventus
  • Real Madrid
  • Manchester United
  • Manchester City
  • Bayern Munich
  • Paris Saint-Germain
  • Atletico Madrid
  • Borussia Dortmund
  • A.S. Roma
  • Tottenham Hotspur

Ten top teams there, compared to previous years which tend to include some lower league teams from non-European regions. Only Arsenal and Chelsea are missing from the top British teams, plus Barcelona from Spain then Napoli and the two Milan teams from Italy. The inclusion of Borussia Dortmund is a new one for the FIFA demo in quite some time, as they previously had an exclusive deal with PES. You’ll also be able to trial out the final chapter of Alex Hunter’s journey, the single-player mode first introduced in FIFA 17.

In other FIFA news, check out the soundtrack you’ll be listening to as you sign players in Career Mode and search the market in Ultimate Team. There’s some great artists featured like Diplo, Gorillaz, Childish Gambino and more.
