The two companies behind Marvel's Spider-Man for the PS4 teamed up to break a Guinness World Record focused on the web slinging hero.

Marvel and Sony have been seeing some great success working together as of late, as the giants in the entertainment industry partnered together to help bring the Insomniac Games developed Marvel's Spider-Man title for the PS4 to the world. Releasing to critical acclaim, Marvel's Spider-Man for the PS4 has been a massive hit in the video game industry for both Sony and Marvel. Now, the two companies have partnered together once again to achieve another major feat focused on everyone's favorite web slinging Marvel hero by breaking a Guinness World Record.

Taking place in Stockholm at the Stockholm Com Com event, Marvel and Sony teamed up to break the Guinness World Record for the most people dressed as Spider-Man in one location. The two companies behind Marvel's Spider-Man for the PS4 gathered 547 people to gather in one location dressed as the Marvel hero in order to break the Guinness World Record.

Marvel's Chief Editor C.B. Cebulski shared two photos detailing the record breaking attempt on his personal Twitter account. With the excitement and buzz surround Spider-Man at an all-time high thanks to the success that the PS4 exclusive title of Marvel's Spider-Man has seen since it was released, it would be hard to argue that there would be any better time for Marvel and Sony to try and break the Guinness World Record for having the most people dressed as the hero in one location.
