The latest Nintendo Direct broadcast that showed off the brand new character of Isabelle from Animal Crossing had the current number of known stages for the upcoming game at 103. This points to Nintendo still having 5 stages left to officially announce for its upcoming entry in the Super Smash Bros. franchise before the latest installment in the popular fighting game in Ultimate is released on December 7th, 2018.
However, as with any information that has not been officially confirmed by Nintendo for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, fans of the fighting game series will have to wait until the highly anticipated title is released or more announcements are made by Nintendo regarding the total number of stages in the final product to know whether or not the new title will indeed have 108 stages for players to do battle on.
With five possible stages still yet to be revealed for the upcoming Nintendo title of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the community for the popular franchise will no doubt be doing their best to speculate and create their own theories regarding what the remaining unannounced stages that the fighting game still could have in its pocket are exactly.
