Fortnite Fall Skirmish, the upcoming six-week esports series, has some finer details today as the clubs and formats are revealed.

Fortnite Summer Skirmish came to an incredible close at PAX West 2018, with Morgausse taking first place, beating pro players from a number of high-profile organisations. Last week, Epic announced their follow up to the Summer Skirmish; the aptly named Fall Skirmish. While their summer endeavours doled out $8 million over eight weeks, the Fall Skirmish will take place across six weeks and have a prize pool of $10 million. Epic are really stepping things up this time around as they’ve just announced the format for the next six weeks along with the new clubs system.

Epic have confirmed that they’ve invited over 500 “community creators and competitors” to the Fall Skirmish. Each player has been put into one of five clubs:

  • Fort Knights
  • Lucky Llamas
  • Dusty Dogs
  • Rift Raiders
  • Bush Bandits

These clubs will persist across all six weeks of the Fall Skirmish. Players have to earn points for their clubs by participating in the weekly skirmish events every single Friday.

Alongside the weekly Skirmish events that get featured on the official Fortnite Twitch channel, Epic have also introduced a new way for players to earn points called Trials. The first Trial takes place for the full week (Friday 21st-Thursday 27th) and involves players jumping into Squads games with other members of their club. The squad from each club with the highest amount of eliminations in a single match will earn prizes and club points.

For the normal Skirmish event, there will be six Duos matches. The top 10 teams at the end of six games will earn cash prizes and points are given out as follows:

  • VICTORY ROYALE: +3 POINTS
  • 2ND-3RD PLACE: +2 POINTS
  • 4TH-5TH PLACE: +1 POINT
  • 8+ ELIMINATIONS: +3 POINTS
  • 6-7 ELIMINATIONS: +2 POINTS
  • 4-5 ELIMINATIONS: +1 POINT
  • HOLD THE THRONE (MOST ELIMINATIONS IN ANY MATCH): +2 POINTS

For the rest of the weeks, the format will change. Week 4 is confirmed to be a Squads format though so maybe we’ll get to see TSM all playing on the same squad for the first time in a long time. You can read up on Epic’s full blog post here which includes details on how members of the public can get involved and potentially join the Fall Skirmish later down the line.
