Code Red is a new tournament series that has been created by Twitch extraordinaire Guy "Dr DisRespect" Beahm and focuses on the battle royale genre for its titles of competition. The first Code Red tournament saw Dr DisRespect invite a multitude of professional players from an array of esports titles and popular Twitch personalities to compete for $20,000 in Player Unknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG)
Now, Dr DisRespect has announced the next edition of his Code Red tournament series with Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and its battle royale game mode of Blackout being the title of choice for the next event.

Announcing the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout edition of his event on Twitter on Sunday, September 23rd, Dr DisRespect revealed that the Code Red Blackout tournament will be taking place on Thursday, October 18th with the promise of being "Bigger, better and more dominant" than its previous PUBG edition.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and its Blackout battle royale game mode officially hits the market on Friday, October 12th. This means that the competitors of the Dr DisRespect Code Red Blackout tournament will have six days to get acclimated with the full version of the highly popular game mode before the event.
At the time of this writing, no other information regarding the prize pool, format, list of competitors or platform for the Dr DisRespect Code Red Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout tournament has been made available.
However, with Dr DisRespect being a very vocal supporter of the PC version of Blackout and his desire to have the most talented and popular players in the competing field, it is highly likely that the next Code Red tournament for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be played on PC.
