It seems players have discovered something hidden along the edges of The Corrupted Strike in Destiny 2, and the prevailing theory is that it is Callum’s Grave, or more accurately, the place where Callum met his end. For those wanting a head start on what is almost certainly a time-gated section of the Malfeasance Exotic Hand Cannon Quest, some tricky jumping is on the cards.

How to get to Callum’s Grave

Callum’s Grave is found in The Corrupted Strike in the Dreaming City, after the fight with the large Ogre in the are where players shift between the real world, and the Ascendant Realm. Firstly, fight your way through the Strike, then defeat the Ogre and head through the portal. Fight your way down the large steps and through another portal, passing through to reach the Ascendant Realm.

Once the Ascendant Realm loads, turn around and head to the right-hand side to find a crystal structure, behind which lies a large rock. Jump from the crystal to the rock, then turn to face the wall. Move from the large rock to the wall, landing on the crystal ledge. Jump up to the right and into the small nook there. From here, jump out to a small clamber point on the rock, then make the jump to the top of the rock. With your back to the wall, jump out and to the right, wrapping around the cliff until you see another small ledge to land on. from this small ledge, jump out and to the right to find the final ledge.

The jumping is tricky and requires a lot of practice, however making sure you use the right jumps for each class can hopefully make it easier. We recommend using the following class perks and gear combinations:

Hunters: Triple jump, ST0MP-EE5, Sword

Titan: Catapult lift/High lift, Lion Rampant, Shoulder Charge/Sword (Optional)

Warlock: Attunement of Sky (Icarus Dash), Sword

Taking the time to increase your Mobility as much as possible might also prove to be a wise choice, as the difference between making and failing these jumps can often be just inches. Once the ledge has been reached, follow the path in the direction of the light, with only a few small jumps to make from now on. as you get closer, it should become fairly apparent what it is you’re looking for, the charred burn mark of a figure on the wall, with a dead ghost on the ground.

This is the primary suspect for Callum’s Grave, referenced in the in-game lore called Shadow on a Wall. It is suspected that there will be a time-gated Exotic Quest related to this location, similar to the Whisper of the Worm Sniper Rifle quest that appeared a few months ago, that might lead to the Exotic Hand Cannon, Malfeasance. For now, just admire the creepy atmosphere and ponder on the fate of the person whose shadow remains on the wall.
