Xbox is getting a fan event in Mexico City on November 10! The plan is to be full of announcements and a big celebration. As the same time, they also announced Forza Horizon 4 news and keyboard compaitibility.

During a pretty productive 10 minute Inside Xbox episode this week, Phil Spencer, head of Xbox, announced mouse and keyboard compatibility with the Xbox (finally) and revealed a fan event that will take place in Mexico City called X018

Set to take place during the fourth-annual Xbox FanFest: Mexico City, X018 is teased to have some great content coming. While the FanFest is a big gathering taking place November 10 to 11, streamed for those that can't make it to Mexico that weekend, X018 will take over and announce new games on November 10.

While not much is known about the format or how the event is planned to work for announcing new things, it's likely to have someone on stage presenting with trailers behind them, similar to how they handle presentations elsewhere, such as with E3. For reference, X0 is an old event series that Xbox did that had news and alloed Microsoft to celebrate their gaming console, run entirely by Xbox staff, as opposed to the fans. Phil Spencer recalled the Barcelona X0 event that allowed them to announce the Rare acquisition.

This announcement was wedged between two great announcements during Inside Xbox, as well. The video started by explaining the post-launch "roadmap" for Forza Horizon 4, which is to change its in-game season every week, which means four weeks after launch will be considered an in-game single year. That's when the new content line starts, on October 25, but each "season" will bring special content each week prior.

After the X018 announcement, they revealed a partnership with Razer and compatibility for keyboard and mouse on Xbox consoles. It'll be a slow build up, but Xbox Preview users will be able to test out the new feature starting October on the game Warframe. That's the only game announced currently with support, but Spencer explained more news and information will come during the X018 event in November.

Consider these just the tip of the iceberg in terms of what Xbox has planned. This year's E3, they brought the goods, which means they're likely to stick to their guns on having a great 2018 into 2019. Speaking of big news, starting today, PlayStation 4 users can now play Fortnite with Xbox users, as well as mobile and Nintendo Switch players.
