Guy "Dr DisRespect" Beahm is one of the most popular streamers on the platform of Twitch and routinely draws tens of thousands of viewers to his stream where he can often be found playing a battle royale title. From H1Z1 and Fortnite to Player Unknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG), Blackout for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and other battle royale games, Dr DisRespect has played a multitude of titles for the popular genre throughout his career. However, Dr DisRespect still wants to see a specific kind of battle royale game be developed at some point.
Taking to his Twitter account, Dr DisRespect explained that he wants to see a battle royale game with set loot be created. The popular Twitch streamer went on to ask his followers to imagine the kinds of narratives and world that could be designed around weapons that had a set spawn location every single time. Dr DisRespect ended his post by stating that a set loot battle royale title will indeed happen at some point in time.

Imagine the world you can design around items and the narrative you can create to end game.
At some point it will happen.
However, one Twitter user responded to the post regarding a set loot battle royale game by Dr DisRespect and asked if the video game community could just move past battle royale games. Dr DisRespect responded and stated that "BR games are just getting started. They’ve barely been tapped into from a creative standpoint. The evolution of BR design will be interesting to see over the next 5 years."

Having been a former level designer for Sledgehammer Games for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Dr DisRespect is no stranger to the business of game development and discussing possible ways for games to be improved or concepts for new games.
With the battle royale genre having gained immense popularity in the past year with the likes of PUBG, Fortnite and now Blackout for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, it is very likely that the genre will see many changes to how developers go about creating these kinds of titles in the same manner that other video game genres have evolved over the years.
While it remains to be seen if or when a set loot based battle royale game will ever be developed, it is clear that Dr DisRespect will be very excited to try it out.
