The Boston Uprising have partnered with Toronto Esports to operate their Overwatch Contenders North American team.

Many of the Overwatch League teams have created their own Overwatch Contenders teams with their own unique brand, such as the London Spitfire and the British Hurricane. While this is the route the majority of the league is taking, the Boston Uprising have decided to partner with an already established esports organization to operate their spot in the North American Overwatch Contenders.

Toronto Esports has announced on their website that they have secured a partnership with the Boston Uprising to represent them as their Overwatch Contenders team. The team will have a large amount of resources at their disposal by being a member of the Kraft Group's Overwatch division and will be looking to make a good amount of noise in the upcoming Overwatch Contenders season.

Both organizations will be looking for their partnership to be a fruitful one.

Overwatch General Manager Tommy Yeung believes that Toronto Esports will prove their doubters wrong in the same way that the Boston Uprising did in Stage 1 of the Overwatch League.

"We are excited to announce our partnership with Boston Uprising in bringing together this roster of amazing players into Contenders Season 2. We're happy to work with the core members of our previous roster once again, and with the addition of a few more talented players we're confident this roster will shatter all expectations, just like Boston Uprising did in Overwatch League."

The roster for Toronto Esports is almost complete, and President Ryan Pallet has assured fans that they will be making an announcement very soon.

The Kraft Group will be looking for Toronto Esports to continue the excellence that the New England Patriots and Boston Uprising have set in the world of professional competition.
