Epic Games has released another new image teasing the arrival of the Fortnitemares 2018 in-game event.

With Halloween right around the corner, Epic Games has begun to tease a new Fortnitemares in-game event that is sure to bring out a great deal of spooky and entertaining content to the battle royale title of Fortnite. Saturday, October 20th saw the first Fortnitemares 2018 teaser image released hinting at a possible new game mode and the possible return of the Ghoul Trooper skin.

Now, Sunday, October 21st has seen Epic Games post another teaser image for Fortnitemares 2018 on the official Fortnite Twitter account, and it focuses on one of the infamous shadow stones that became a new feature in Fortnite at the beginning of Season 6.

"Tombstones quake, Keep your finger steady. The circle will close, Better be ready. ," stated the official announcement post of the second teaser image.

This new teaser image for the upcoming Halloween themed in-game event features a shadow stone covered by several chains. This imagery possibly suggests that the new game mode that will added into Fortnite with the Fortnitemares 2018 in-game event could possibly focus on players battling to unlock the chained shadow stones.

Unfortunately, no other information regarding what exactly the Fortnitemares 2018 event will consist of or when it will be coming to the massively popular battle royale title from Epic Games. There will likely be plenty of new cosmetic items drawing upon inspiration from Halloween coming to the daily item shop when the new in-game event arrives sometime in Season 6.

However, with the two Fortnitemares 2018 teaser images sparking a great deal of discussion in the community regarding what exactly Epic Games has in store for the community of Fortnite this Halloween season, there will definitely be plenty of players ready to experience whatever the developer has in store.
