The popular CLG alumni has jumped ship to one of his biggest rivals and will guide TSM into 2019.

Following the departure of Head Coach Kim “SSONG” Sang-Soo, TSM has today revealed that former Counter Logic Gaming Head Coach Tony “Zikzlol” Gray will be joining the team for the upcoming season. The announcement comes after speculation about who will guide the former NA LCS champions as they enter their rebuilding phase after a disastrous 2018 season.

“Zikz is joining us after a long tenure on CLG, during which he witnessed many of the biggest events in North American LCS history. He has overseen rosters with star players and rookies, and played part in some of the region's most memorable victories (both domestic and international),” wrote the org in their statement. “His many years in the LCS has proven an extremely deep strategic understanding of League of Legends, and we're extremely fortunate to have someone with such an extensive resume on board! We hope our fans are excited about this, and with for all of you to join us in welcoming him to the team!”

Zikz has extensive experience in both the NA LCS, and in rebuilding teams from nothing, having guided CLG from relegations to a winning streak that many fans thought impossible to achieve. Their recent struggles have obviously not dissuaded TSM from looking to the veteran coach for his expertise, as they look to improve in all areas from their worst performance since the beginning of the NA LCS. At this time, it is unknown whether TSM will be making additional changes to either the coaching staff, or their player roster.
