Red Dead Redemption 2 features an enormous map and knowing how to fast travel can help you traverse the dangerous landscape of the Western world in a quick manner.

The day that the vast majority of the video game community has been waiting years for has arrived with the highly anticipated Rockstar Games title of Red Dead Redemption 2 now available for everyone to jump into. Featuring a traditional large Rockstar Games map to experience countless adventures, knowing how to fast travel can be a vital tool in completing missions or avoiding unwanted combat.

Red Dead Redemption 2 - How to Fast Travel

If you do not care about breaking the immersion of your wild west adventures and would like to skip a pesky cinematic scene when you fast travel then a trip to the Van der Linde camp is what you should take. Once you have it made it to the camp make your way to the very back of Dutch’s quarters. Here is where you will find a ledger and for $325 you can put up a map in your character’s quarters. Open the document and take a look under the lodging section and choose the upgrade of “Arthur wants a map to help plan journeys”. This option only allows for you to make your way to previously discovered Red Dead Redemption 2 locations.

However, if you never want to stop feeling like a cowboy or cowgirl when you fast travel in Red Dead Redemption 2 then you will need to follow the following method.

Open up your trusty old map and look for a signpost icon. These fast travel signpost icons on the Red Dead Redemption 2 map will lead you to a Stage. Once you have made your way to a location of a stagecoach, head inside and speak to the Station Clerk. Here you will receive the option to choose to take the Stagecoach to begin your travels or purchase train tickets.

If you selected the option of Train Tickets from the Red Dead Redemption 2 Station Clerk, you will be given a list of locations where you can choose where you would like to fast travel to. You will then be taken to a cinematic scene where you will fast travel with the Red Dead Redemption 2 main character of Arthur Morgan on a train.

With this information, you will be able to fast travel all around the map of Red Dead Redemption 2 with no problem whatsoever.
