In a segment at TwitchCon called “The Roast of TimTheTatman,” popular streamer Ben “Dr Lupo” Lupo took to the stage to give some of the best zingers we’ve heard yet. While the event was ostensibly to put the heat on TimTheTatman, Dr Lupo didn’t hold back when it came to fellow streamers Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, Minnesota Twins pitcher Trevor May, and PJ “Action Jaxon” as well, delivering some lighthearted, if scathing, remarks about them all.

None of the insults should be taken to heart, as they are all friends behind the scenes, but that closeness certainly led to some absolute scorchers by Dr Lupo. To Trevor May, he stated “I wonder what it’s like to be outclassed by Tim in two ways at the same time. He is both a better streamer and sells more jerseys than you.”

While Ninja copped a blow directed at his family friendly streaming style, and the audience that comes with it: “A lot of the people here in front of us are our viewers, which is what actually amazes me about you Tyler that you’re up here because most of your viewers are outside because of the age restriction.”

Of course, the main roast was directed at TimTheTatman, with beauties such as “You look like a public service announcement about why you should stay in school,” and “You look like the kind of snowman my son makes out of mixed up colors of Play-Doh.”

While “Roasts” are fairly commonplace in Hollywood, there hasn’t really been a lot of attention given to this kind of thing from the gaming industry. From what we’ve seen, that is hopefully something that will change in the future.
