The Fortnite streamer has apparently broken the record for most subscribers to a solo streamer, and stands to take home the big bucks if true.

Tyler “Ninja” Blevins has apparently broken the record for most subscribers to a solo streamer, surpassing more than 50,000 subs on his Twitch.tv channel on February the 22nd. Ninja announced on February 16th that he had reached the 40,000 subscriber milestone, and has since gained over 10,000 more subscribers in less than a week.

Ninja has gained a large following since his time as a Halo competitive pro, where he played for teams such as Cloud9, Renegades, and Luminosity. When he made the switch to games such as PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, he gained quite a large fan base, and the switch to Fortnite has only improved this.

As of the time of writing, he is rapidly approaching 51,000 subscribers, and has amassed over two million followers. With the current percentage that streamers take from their subscribers, Ninja is likely earning at least $125,000 a month, although that is assuming that all of his subscribers are only using the base $5 per/month subscription model. With other options including a $10 subscription and a $25 subscription, it’s likely that Ninja is walking away with quite a bit more in monthly revenue.

Fans are also able to donate directly to Ninja, as well as purchase fan gear depicting his logos and designs.
