Bethesda will release Fallout 76 soon and Xbox and the Philadelphia 76ers NBA team are set to help. The 76ers donned slick Fallout 76-inspired jerseys and are teaming up on a Radioactive Edition Xbox One Bundle giveaway.

November 14, 2018 isn’t far away for the launch of Fallout 76, and though that’s set to take players to a war torn and radioactive West Virginia, Bethesda and Xbox are heading north to the Philadelphia 76ers in on the action. The NBA recently teamed up with Fallout 76 and Xbox to hype the game even further on its way to launch day and offer fans an opportunity at some sweet swag in an upcoming giveaway that includes a Fallout 76 Radioactive Edition Xbox One Bundle.

The fun of the new partnership began on November 4, 2018, where Fallout 76 and Xbox “took over” during the Philadelphia 76ers game. In addition to donning some slick Radioactive Fallout 76-themed jerseys, the 76er squad was joined by Vault Boy on the court. Moreover, during halftime, those in attendance were treated to the latest Fallout 76 trailer, projected onto the court at halftime of the game.

Further collaboration between Xbox, Fallout 76, and the 76ers will come in the next few days with various reveals such as the 76ers-branded Radioactive Edition Xbox One X console and controller which was recently showcased on Xbox Wire. What’s more, fans of Fallout and the 76ers will have a chance at scoring their own piece of the action. During this partnership, a Fallout 76 Radioactive Edition Xbox One bundles will be up for grabs. The exact details have not been revealed yet, but fans are encouraged to watch the Xbox, Fallout, and 76ers Twitters for the upcoming details.

This partnership is quite a big one, further solidifying the NBA as a solid supporter of video games. Various NBA teams already sponsor esports teams, such as the Golden Guardians under the Golden State Warriors mantle. The 76ers getting in on the action with Fallout 76 is just another of many positive steps to invite games into the legitimate world of sports.
