One of the new expansion teams, the Guangzhou Charge, have revealed their roster for the upcoming 2019 Overwatch League season.

The Guangzhou Charge, one of the new expansion teams to join the Overwatch League, have revealed their lineup for the 2019 Overwatch League season overnight. With nine players revealed in a single swoop, the Guangzhou Charge are hoping to garner fans as they begin making preparations for next year’s competition.

Four of the roster hail from the Overwatch Contenders team Meta Bellum, with DPS player Lee “Happy” Jung-woo, tank player Oh “Rio” Seung-pyo, and support duo Lee “WonJaeLee” Won-jae and Kim “Chara” Jung-yeon all making their entry into the league. They will be joined by two Chinese players from LGD Gaming, DPS player Ou “Eileen” Yiliang and support player Chen “OnlyWish” Lizhen, along with two members of the former Toronto Esports Overwatch team, American DPS Charlie “nero” Zwarg and South Korean support Jin-seo “Shu” Kim. The final piece of the puzzle lies with DPS player Finley “Kyb” Adisi from the British Hurricane, one of the European Contenders teams.

With four DPS mains and four Support mains working with a single Main Tank, the Guangzhou Charge will either need to find another tank player to help bolster the team’s defenses or have some of their players move to flex positions. This isn’t exactly uncommon, with Flex players proving to be excellent at making the switch from one playstyle to another depending on what their team needs.
