Since Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 launched with Blackout, the battle royale mode, we haven’t seen any changes to the map so far. The game has been out for almost two months and the map is starting to get stale for some players, so it seems like Treyarch may be adopting the Epic Games way of doing things by creating a continuously updating map.
In a video posted to the official Call of Duty Twitter account, it shows the map from a satellite’s perspective. A radar is circling the island and there’s a blip that appears in the water, right next to the Construction Site. People are speculating that this could be Hijacked, the ocean liner map from Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, appearing in the game.

At first glance these rumors may seem unfounded, but you also need to take into account the recent live stream with PSG soccer stars Neymar Jr, Marquinhos, and Thiago Silva. In an Instagram video posted by Neymar Jr, he was hyping up the stream before they went live, and in the background, eagle-eyed viewers spotted a Hijacked poster on the wall behind him.
It makes sense for it to be Hijacked, given the location of the blip on the radar. There’s not many other Call of Duty maps that would work placed in the ocean, and Hijacked is one of the most popular throughout the franchise’s history. With that said, it could also be Skyjacked; the remake of Hijacked on Black Ops 3, with the same layout but up in the sky. Of course, that would mean players could only get to it as soon as they jump out at the start of the game, or with a helicopter though so it’s much more likely to be Hijacked.
