Friday, December 7th saw the highly anticipated Nintendo title of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate be released and has started a massive tier list creation effort by the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate community. One of the first that has caught the eye of the community is the tier list created for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate by Team SoloMid professional Super Smash Bros. player and EVO 2018 champion William "Leffen" Hjelte that was announced Friday.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Tier List - TSM Leffen
Featuring seven characters in the S Tier, TSM Leffen currently has the veteran Super Smash Bros. character of Falco as his top fighter. The Belmont vampire hunter brothers, Diddy Kong, King K. Rool, Meta Knight and the Pokemon Trainer fill out the rest of the top level for TSM Leffen.
A total of seven tiers consisting filled out with all of the other remaining characters from the roster of the newly released game make up the rest of the first list that the veteran player for the competitive scene of Nintendo's popular fighting game franchise in TSM Leffen has created. However, as with these kinds of lists for past games in the franchise and other fighting games, this particular set of rankings from the TSM player will likely change as the competitive scene evolves.
While TSM Leffen is regarded as one of the greatest players ever for the Nintendo franchise, many community members responded to the announcement of the player's tier list for Ultimate with confusion and doubt. Fortunately for those who were looking for an explanation by TSM Leffen regarding the reasoning for his Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tier list, they will get one on Saturday, December 8th, as Leffen has stated that he will be releasing an video on his YouTube channel that will explain how he came to his first version of a tier list for the newly release title.
