Today's Fortnite patch has once again brought a series of leaked skins to light, and there's two new Christmas themed skins, along with two alternate versions of existing skins to celebrate the festive period.

As we approach Christmas and the festive period, the 7.10 patch has been released. The 14 Days of Fortnite starts tomorrow, there’s been some big nerfs to the Stormwing X-4 plane, Ziplines seem to have been mostly fixed, and the Infinite Dab emote now lasts for an impressive 10 hours in the lobby. But what about spending those hard earned V-Bucks?

Four Christmas and winter themed skins have leaked with this patch, and to kick things off, there’s two alternate styles for existing skins. As you can see on the left-hand side, the Red Knight has turned into the Blue Knight because she’s frozen over and there’s frost covering her boots. Love Ranger on the other hand seems to have completely embraced the cold. His previously stone skin is now bright blue, turning him into a Frost Ranger (name unconfirmed).

There’s also two brand new skins. On the left, you’ve got the Headhunter model wearing some elf clothing, ready to pack up all of the children’s toys this Christmas Eve. On the right is a very unique skin that we can’t quite put our finger on. Reddit user /u/LOU-PEECHUM has speculated that the skin could be a representation of Belsnickel, a “Christmas gift-bringer figure” from southwestern Germany. Belsnickel was made popular worldwide after Dwight Schrute dressed up as him during Season 9 Episode 9 of The Office (US). We’re unconvinced though. Could Epic be creating their own mythical Christmas figure?

Also included in this update are updated versions of the Merry Marauder and Ginger Gunner. As featured in one of the loading screens in the Season 7 battle pass, you can now obtain “toasted” versions of the skins where it looks like they’ve been overcooked. They also have a new backbling called Mini Marauder, while the Crackshot skin has the Birdshot backbling. Epic has confirmed that Christmas skins will feature throughout the 14 Days of Fortnite, so expect all of these skins to be available at some point during the next two weeks.

In other Fortnite news, Alfonso Ribeiro is suing Epic Games for their use of the Fresh emote.
