Meet the North American teams representing their region at the Western Clash in Katowice, Poland

In the Heroes of the Storm Global Championship, the Western Clash is the best place to see how the different styles of North America and Europe match up. Here are the North American teams getting set to represent their region.

The first seed representing North America, Tempo Storm is comprised of Team Captain and Warrior Ben “cattlepillar” Bunk, Support Jun “Jun” Jang, Assassin Harrison “psalm” Chang, Assassin Fan “Fan” Yang, and Warrior/Assassin Mike “Glaurung” Fisk. An aggressive team, Tempo Storm have shown that they are willing to step up to fights with open arms. Showing immense pressure in their last series against Gale Force Esports, Tempo Storm will look to test their particular brand of measured aggression against the best teams that Europe has to offer.

The second seed team from North America, Team Twelve is a familiar face to Heroes of the Storm fans, having been previously known as Roll20 esports, before having to change sponsors due to new regulations in the 2018 Heroes of the Storm Global Championship. Comprised of Team Captain and Warrior Justin “Justing” Gapp, Assassin Dane “daneski” Coleman, Assassin Yusuf “Kure” Sunka, Warrior/Assassin Francisco “Goku” Avalos, and Support Chandler “Buds” Gavran, Team Twelve have demonstrated an ability to play from behind, when they aren’t so far ahead that it doesn’t matter that is. It will be interesting to see how this dominating playstyle matches up against the European teams.
