With the Destiny 2 expansion titled "Black Armory," you want to get your hands on some awesome new armor, right? Here's how to acquire some new threads within Destiny 2's latest expansion.

All this talk about the weapons available to Guardians in Destiny 2: Black Armory seems to have taken away from players realizing how nice the armor is. But fear not, it's easier than normal to get your hands on some Powerful Armor within Destiny 2's latest DLC drop. It involves (surprise!) getting real cozy with a vendor.

How to Get Black Armory Armor in Destiny 2: Black Armory

To be more specific, you need to get cozy with the newest resident of the Tower, Ada-1. To get a full set of Black Armory armor, players must complete Ada-1’s weekly challenge. This challenge can be found through the Director when highlighting Ada-1’s node in the map. The challenge specifically tasks players with completing two weapon frames, at which point it will reward a Powerful Armor engram.

No, not Powerful Gear, Powerful Armor. These engrams are guaranteed to drop a piece of armor, rather than have a 50/50 split on whether it'll be a weapon or armor coming to you. You'll still only get armor pieces you don't need (because you already have 4 pairs of max Power level gloves...) but at least you can't get an Edge Transit from this engram!

Keep in mind that you can only get one Powerful Armor engram per week, so it may take you a while to get your hands on a full set of Black Armory armor. Not to mention that, unlike weapons, only one class can use the armor you get, so running these missions on your alts won't help unless you're some sort of sicko who has two of the same class. At least you'll make some new friends along the way.

We'll be covering more of Black Armory throughout the coming weeks, so stay tuned! In case you haven't heard, Bungie recently split from Activision, assuming full IP publishing rights to Destiny. Here's what went down and what the split means for our favorite spaceman shooter game.
