Monday, February 4th saw developer Respawn Entertainment grab the attention of the video game community with the official reveal and release of its new battle royale title of Apex Legends. Set in the universe of the Titanfall franchise, Apex Legends sees 20 teams of three players compete to be the last team standing by using a cast of characters that each offer unique abilities to use in battle.
The first day of Apex Legends being released into the wild saw the new battle royale title shoot up to the top of the Twitch charts thanks to plenty of organized promotion of the title from many of the biggest stars on the streaming platform of Twitch. This sudden popularity of Apex Legends has led to well known YouTuber and battle royale tournament organizer Daniel "KEEMSTAR" Keem to tease the possible creation of a massive Apex Legends tournament that would be one of the latest battle royale events organized by KEEMSTAR.
Taking to his Twitter account on Tuesday, February 5th, KEEMSTAR gauged the interest that the community would have for a $100,000 Apex Legends tournament with two posts that can be seen below.

With a high volume of retweets and favorites on the two Twitter posts by KEEMSTAR regarding the possible creation of a $100,000 tournament for the latest title to call the battle royale genre home, it looks as though many players would be very interested in participating and watching an event of this caliber be organized.
Apex Legends would be the latest battle royale title that KEEMSTAR has a hand in when it comes to establishing and growing a grassroots competitive scene with his Friday Fortnite tournament series for Fortnite Battle Royale in the past having become a massive hit in the gaming world.
