Fortnite has announced a new Share The Love competitive event that will be bringing ranked play to the battle royale title.

One of the biggest requests that the community for Fortnite Battle Royale have been asking of developer Epic Games has been the addition of a ranked playlist to the battle royale title where players could play against similar skilled opponents and rise through the ranks to show off their skills. Unfortunately, Epic Games had been silent on the addition of a ranked playlist or game mode to Fortnite much the dismay of the community. However, this issue of the absence of a ranked playlist in Fortnite saw a major development on Thursday, February 7th when Epic Games announced the Share The Love competitive event.

Competing players will be able to advance to the next division of the Fortnite Share The Love competitive event by earning a pin during any daily sessions through out the competitive series. Those who are skilled enough to earn a pin in the Champion Division of the upcoming ranked playlist for the Share The Love event will access to compete in the Champion Division Finals that will be taking place February 23rd and 24th.

With Fortnite finally getting the long awaited ranked playlist that a large section of the battle royale title's community has been asking for, there will likely be a great number of players looking to prove their skills and climb through the divisions of the Fortnite Share The Love competitive event this month.
