Evo 2019 had a tough call to make for its list. It’s a massive year for fighting games with many new ones out and about right now. Dead or Alive 6 has finally landed, Soulcalibur 6 is fresh and hot, Tekken 7 still carries a lot of awesome competition, and then there’s Mortal Kombat 11, all the Arc System Works fighters like BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle and Dragon Ball FighterZ, and so much more. Which ones will be making the cut on this year’s Evo 2019 main stages? The details are fast approaching.

On February 17, 2019, immediately following Evo Japan, Evo lead and face Joey “Mr. Wizard” Cuellar tweeted that the full list of Evo 2019 games would be announced in a reveal show on February 26, 2019 at 6PM PST. The reveal will take place at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and a mountain of questions will be answered about what we can expect to see as the star attactions of the Evo 2019 game line-up.

There’s most certainly a lot to question as we inch closer to that announcement. Will Super Smash Bros Melee remain a fixture of Evo for another year? Will it be a massive year of 3D fighters with DOA6, Soulcalibur VI, and Tekken 7 still running? Will Arc System Works have a lion’s share of mainstage games as it did in 2018? Will the mainstage games be expanded to 10 or more to make room for an ever growing scene of popular fighters that will include Mortal Kombat 11 and Smash Bros Ultimate? There’s so much everyone wants to see out of this latest year of competition and Cuellar promises to deliver on the hype.

The full announcement will be streamed live, so be sure to tune in at 6PM PST / 9PM EST on February 26 and don’t miss seeing if your favorite fighter comes to play at Evo 2019! You can catch it live on the Evo Twitch channel or check out the embedded stream below when it plays. What do you want to see in the Evo 2019 game lineup?
