Evo 2019's main game lineup is out and it's time to get ready to throw down in the biggest fighting game tournament of the year. Here's how to get ready.

Did you catch the reveal of Evo 2019’s main game lineup? Then maybe you saw Under Night: In-Birth make the cut following our Evo 2019 FGC predictions! But enough patting ourselves on the back. It’s time to get ready. Registration has opened for Evo 2019 and we have the details on how to register and get yourself squared away for your fights in Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino.

Evo’s 2019 main game lineup was announced on February 26, 2019. From August 2 to 4, 2019, players will take over the halls of the Mandalay Bay Covention Center and Arena to battle across Street Fighter V, Soulcalibur 6, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Mortal Kombat 11, and much more. Registration has opened on the Evo corner of Shoryuken, as well as direct links to booking hotels for the event. From the page, players will be able to register for the general event, book their lodgings, and buy Sunday tickets (which are separate from the general registration!).

On Smash.gg, event goers will register for Evo 2019 as a whole and then pick and choose each game they want to compete in. General admission (Early Bird) is $45 and each game is $10 a piece to enter a piece, all before taxes. Once Early Bird pricing has ended, the admission cost will go up to about $90. According to Joey “Mr. Wizard” Cuellar and Mark Julio, this is to help get the numbers set in stone before the big event, so it’s really best to get in as early as possible if you don’t want to pay more.

Once again, book your hotel as well, and make sure that if you’re attending Sunday, you purchase the Evo 2019 World Finals ticket separately from the general registration so you can catch all of the action.
