Mortal Kombat 11’s latest Kombat Kast had a lot of wonderful goods for us, including a full reveal of Johnny Cage. One of the biggest announcements to come of it was a new Online Stress Test open to a limited amount of players, ahead of another Pre-Order Beta which is coming soon. Here’s how to get in on the Online Stress Test and get your first hands-on experience with Mortal Kombat 11.

The Online Stress Test was announced during the February 27 Kombat Kast featuring the recently revealed Johnny Cage. The Online Stress Test is slated for the weekend of March 15 through March 17, 2019. Open to just US players this time out, the Online Stress Test Beta will be limited to a limited number (at this time unknown) of players.

How to Sign Up

To get signed up, hopeful players need to go the Mortal Kombat 11 Beta page. Once there, you need to click “Register” under the Online Stress Test, input your birthday, your favored system, PlayStation PSN or Xbox Live Gamertag, your email, and country, and hit confirm. That’s it. You’re registered.

Players chosen for the Mortal Kombat 11 Online Stress Test Beta will receive an email with a code for their preferred platform to access the Mortal Kombat 11 Online Stress Test on March 15 at approximately 7AM PST. You only need go to the PlayStation Store or Xbox Live Marketplace from there, input the code as you would for any digital content, and then download the Stress Test. As this is literally called the “Online Stress Test”, likely only online play will be available during the weekend, but most of the characters shown so far (minus Shao Kahn who is a pre-order DLC character) will likely be open to play. Register as soon as possible, and good luck!
