Wednesday, March 6th saw Epic Games add two new in-game tournament events to its popular battle royale game of Fortnite in the Gauntlet Solo and Duos test events. The Fortnite Gauntlet Solo and Duos tournament events allow players to pay bus fare and play as many matches as they want to secure as many points as possible until the end of the Fortnite Gauntlet Solo and Duos tournament events on March 8th where the top 5% of players on the final leaderboard for each tournament will qualify to play in the Finals for their respective events this upcoming weekend. Fortnite Gauntlet Solo and Duos Leaderboard
The scoring format that determines where players end up on the leaderboard for both the Gauntlet Solo and Duos tournaments rewards players for high placements and elimination counts. You can find the point scoring format for each Gauntlet leaderboard below.
With both the Solo and Duos tournament events not ending until Friday, March 8th, players of the popular battle royale title still have a good amount of time to jump in some matches and rack up those sweet, sweet points in order to climb up the standings for either event. However, the players who have already begun their climb up the leaderboard for the two new tournaments will have a solid headstart against those who have not yet started.
You can find the live and current standings for both tournament events inside the in-game events menu tab and on the events section of Fortnite Tracker. Each set of standings will be found when checking your own stats at the bottom of the screen where the March 8th end date can be found.
