Season 2 of the Overwatch League is underway with the global esports league for the Blizzard Entertainment's first person shooter title of Overwatch delivering another dose of exciting action to fans. With a total of 20 teams competing in Season 2 of the Overwatch League in order to become the 2019 champions, there are plenty of contenders for the top spot in the league's standings. Overwatch League 2019 Season 2 Standings
In a situation that many fans were likely not too surprised to see unfold as Season 2 of the Overwatch League got underway, the New York Excelsior currently sit at the top of 2019 with a perfect 7-0 record. The Vancouver Titans, one of the new eight expansion teams competing this year, are the only other team with a perfect record at 5-0, while the Toronto Defiant (5-2), Philadelphia Fusion (4-2), and the Dallas Fuel (4-2) round out the top five.
One of the most surprising results that has surfaced at the beginning of this season's action has been the lackluster start for the Los Angeles Valiant, as the team that many believed would be a strong competitor this year currently sits at the bottom of the 2019 standings with a win less record of 0-7.

While some teams have already established themselves as strong competitors and others have had a rough start to their 2019 campaign for Season 2 of the Overwatch League, there are still plenty of matches to be played and these standings could easily be much different in the near future.
