Quake Champions is Bethesda's current entry in the world of competitive multiplayer titles, and it is gearing up for an exciting future with a slew of recent updates and changes that includes the beginning of Quake Champions Season 2 and announcements of major esports events for this year. If you missed any of the recent Quake Season 2 or esports news, do not worry, as we have everything you need to know covered. 

Quake Champions Season 2

The highly anticipated March update has arrived and with it Season 2. Players battling in the title will be able to unlock a variety of cosmetic items that they will be able to add to their inventories that include the likes of the  Flintlock Shotgun, Visor’s Plasma Emission System, and coveted Tesla Lightning Gun. Content period 2 has also introduced the ability for the community to create their own custom games that will let players create their most imaginative environments for the game. 

With the shift towards the implementation of a Battle Pass, players will no longer be able to purchase the Champions Pack. However, the community will still "keep their Champions and vanity items unlocked through those packs" and can still acquire characters through Shards or with Platinum.

Quake Champions 2019-2020 Esports Season

The particular franchise is often seen as where the world of esports first started, and 2019-2020 will see the title looking to continue the franchise's rich esports history. This competition period will begin with a Duel tournament at Quakecon 2019 in a buildup to the World Championship that will take place at QuakeCon 2020. 

With the beginning of Season 2 and the first details of the next esports season for the first-person title, Quake Champions is set to have some exciting moments for the foreseeable future that you will not want to miss.
