For those Guardians who prefer to deal their damage from far away - The Insight Terminus Nightfall has a Sniper Rifle for you. The Long Goodbye is a beast of a sniper, sporting one of the highest aim-down-sight (ADS) times in the game, The Long Goodbye is a definite must-have for any Crucible player. Here's a bit more about the weapon:
- Weapon Type: Energy Sniper Rifle
- Weapon Element: Arc
- Perks: Adaptive Frame, then Random
- Rounds Per Minute (RPM): 90
- Magazine Size: 4
Handy little gun, isn't it? This thing is an absolute beast of a weapon, especially if you manage to get a roll with Outlaw/Snapshot Sights and/or Dragonfly/Rampage. The Curated Roll isn't awful, since it does feature Rapid Hit, but you are definitely hoping for a random roll for the slight chance at least one of the above perks.
How Do I Get The Long Goodbye?
So, just how do you bring this weapon home? Like we mentioned, you'll just have to run "The Insight Terminus" Nightfall until you get it to drop. That's it. Nothing more, nothing less. Maybe you'll want to change into all of your lucky clothing and bring your good luck charms with you to Nessus? Make sure you bring some high-level friends and get as high of a score as possible - your point total will affect your chance at the very best loot.
Should RNGsus bless you with this beautiful Legendary beast, you'll have yourself a weapon most in the Crucible would be envious of. It should be noted that Xbox One and PC players can now experience this strike now that Forsaken has released, meaning there's no excuses for not grinding this gem out (unless you have work or a family or other priorities that would prevent you from doing so.
