The Samurai Showdown Reboot has confirmed a lot of classic characters for the roster and even some newer ones in the likes of Genjuro and Yoshitora. That said, we know that there are going to be at least 3 new characters to come to the game that have never been seen before. The first of those characters has finally been revealed: A pirate-like character named Darli Dagger. And now it looks like we’re about get a look at the rest of the roster in a live reveal event.
SNK announced a reveal stream to take place in Japan via Twitter. The stream is set to drop at 11AM JST on April 5. That translates to April 4, 2019 7PM PST / 10PM EST. You’ll be able to catch the stream when it goes live via SNKOfficial’s channels on YouTube or Twitch, or you can watch it below.
Alongside this reveal, an image was released showing off the three final characters coming to the game. One of them we know now as Darli Dagger, but the other two are a complete mystery and we have not seen anything of Darli outside a few pieces of art. Whatever these new characters are going to do or look like, they are said to be completely new additions to the Samurai Shodown series. With their reveals, it will fill out the last end of the 16 character roster confirmed for the Samurai Shodown reboot, although DLC is definitely planned for the game.
