It was another week of reveals for the Mortal Kombat 11 roster. In addition to deep dives into Erron Black and Noob Saibot, we got our first look at The Kollector.

Mortal Kombat 11 is so dang close you can smell the Fatalities in the air, and Kombat Kast has been delivering delicious reveals just about every week leading up to release. Today’s showed us our first deep dive into Erron Black and Noob Saibot, but we also got a fresh reveal with new character The Kollector for the main roster.

The new Kombat Kast skipped Wednesday and played on Friday April 5, 2019. This time around we started right off with our first big look at Mortal Kombat 11’s freshest character. Kollector is a Shao Kahn minion who has served to collect soldiers, supplies, wealth, and whatever else his master needs. He’s not a Shokan as previously thought, but rather a six-armed race and he carries a ton of trinkets to do Kahn’s bidding. You can get a glimpse of him using a bunch of those gadgets and then… ahem… collecting from his opponent in the clip below.

The NetherRealm team described the Kollector as a jack-of-all-trades and master-of-none character. He comes equipped with an enormous amount of gadgets taken from his previous foes. That includes orbs with Ermac-esque spiritual sorcery, Kano-esque knives, Scorpion chains, and more. In fact, the Kollector has various items such as the “Soul of Moloch” which reference encounters with long-past Mortal Kombat characters. He can do pretty much all of it, but doesn’t necessarily excel at anything. Even still it’s built to make Kollector a very versatile character that can cater to pretty much most playstyles or be your character that can do okay in any situation.

Kollector marks one of the last characters for the regular Mortal Kombat 11 confirmed roster. There are only two slots left for regular roster characters. Has your favorite made it in? Is Kollector going to be your main? Who are you waiting for?
