After Week 13 of the North American Rainbow Six Pro League, there are some mightly large headlines heading into the final games of the season.

On Monday, April 15th, all of the Rainbow Six fans across the continent were glued to game day as we wind down the epic finals weeks of North American Rainbow Six Pro Leagues.

Both the bottom of the standings and the top are in extreme contentions, as the best players in NA duke it out to try and squeeze as many points out of their opponents. Can Reciprocity get closer to Milan and bump DarkZero out of their playoff spot? Will Rogue close out their 2019 season in high-regard? For a re-cap on how things looked heading into Week 13, check out our Power Rankings after Week 12

Here are our updated North American Rainbow Six Pro League Power Rankings.

1st - Heading into their hardest of their two final matches in the 2019 regular season, Evil Geniuses couldn’t let off the gas pedal against Team Reciprocity, and they didn’t. Proving more-so that they are the best team in North America, Evil Geniuses pulled out a dramatic turnaround to win against REC on Boarder to finish out the match schedule on play day 13. With 6 points between them at 3rd place, there is no chance of them missing the playoffs. We’re almost certain they will take the number 1 seed heading to Milan to represent NA in the postseason.

2nd - Last week, we had to bump Reciprocity down to 5th place in order to make way for a strong Rise Nation, and the Surprisingly difficult Spacestation Gaming, but the Rainbow Six gods put all back in order after Week 13. Thanks to a tremendous fight against Evil Geniuses, and lack of confidence in DarkZone Esports, Team Reciprocity climbs back up the ranks. Looking forward, Team Reciprocity has one final matchup to play and it’s against a soft Spacestation Gaming. It’s almost guaranteed that REC will finish the season with 23 points, and if DarkZone loses to Rise Nation in Week 14, they may even make the playoffs.

3rd - Even though they put up a good fight in Week 12 against Evil Geniuses, DarkZone Esports hasn’t looked great in the last month. Currently, they sit in a playoff spot at 2nd place, but there’s no telling where they might be when we close the book on Week 14 next Monday. We still hold Rise Nation in some pretty high regard here at Twin Galaxies, so their next week battle against DarkZero Esports isn’t going to be a cake-walk for their team. It could be we’ve seen the last of DZ earning points this regular season.

4th - With Week 13 being their last chance to shine on the mainstream for the North American Rainbow Six Pro League, Rogue had a lot to play for in terms of respect, but nothing to play for in the standings. They finish off their 2019 regular season without a berth into the playoffs, however, they did an amazing job at providing solid evidence that they belong amongst teams in this league.

5th - There are only seven teams in the North American Rainbow Six Pro League right now, which means that only one team will have to be sent to relegations in the offseason. This is great news for a Rise Nation team that continues to baffle us with their exemplary teamwork and clutch fragging. We fully expect Rise to be back in NA next season, and if they do their work in the scrims, they could very well turn into a playoff contender in a short amount of time. Our of the bottom half teams, Rise Nation is constantly on the verge of winning close matches. This includes their Week 13 loss to Rogue.

6th - You rise so high, only to fall so far. If it weren’t for the extremely high placement last week, we wouldn’t have dropped Spacestation Gaming this low. However, they showed little life in their match tie against the worst team in the league Excelerate Gaming in Week 13. Where is the real Spacestation Gaming? At this point, we simply have to boil their standings position down to poor play by others, rather than stellar play by them. SSG is the team that is least deserving of their current standings spot, so they must fall in our rankings.

7th - We’re really stoked that Excelerate Gaming managed to tie against Spacestation Gaming in Week 13, but there’s no avoiding the blaring noise emanating from their standings spot. With Rise Nation looking like the sleeper team, unfortunately, it smells a lot like relegations for Excelerate come this offseason. If they continue to play with as little vigor and anticipation as they have in the last few weeks, they might not even survive relgations. Added to that problem is the fact that they have to close out the season playing Evil Geniuses in the final week which will most definitely mean no points will be gained.

MATCH OF THE DAY

Rogue vs. Rise Nation

The North American Rainbow Six Pro League will conclude next week on Monday, April 22nd. The final play day of the 2019 season might bring a whole lot of fireworks to a set of standings that haven’t seen a ton of movement recently.

Who do you think will close out next week in a playoff spot and earn the chance to represent the North America Rainbow Six Pro League on the international stage?
