Fortnite Battle Royale has led the way when it comes to seeing major brands from mainstream culture collaborate with the video game industry. From the movie crossover events for Avengers: Endgame and John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum to having officially licensed NFL character skins where players could wear the uniforms of their favorite teams, the high-profile game has seen some of the world's most popular brands insert themselves into its world. This will be no different for the newly announced collaboration between Jordan, the signature shoe and apparel brand from NBA legend Michael Jordan, and Fortnite that was revealed on Tuesday, May 21st to be the Fortnite X Jordan crossover.

The reveal of the Fortnite X Jordan collaboration began when the official Twitter account for the battle royale title posted a Tweet that showed a goat, a basketball, and a sneaker. With Michael considered by many to be the Greatest of All Time (GOAT) when it comes to basketball, this tweet immediately signaled to the community that the game could be getting some content inspired by the legendary Chicago Bulls player in the near future.

This speculation soon turned to confirmed information with the in-game news section for the battle royale game officially confirming that a Fortnite X Jordan collaboration would indeed be coming on Wednesday, May 22nd.
Unfortunately, the community does not have any information regarding exactly what kind of content Epic Games will be adding to the popular title with this upcoming crossover. From the return of fan-favorite basketball skins to possibly the first ever set of shoe cosmetic items that will see players able to equip Jordans to their characters.
