High-profile Fortnite player Tfue has seen his YouTube subscriber count drop since the news of his lawsuit against FaZe Clan was brought to light.

The attention of the esports world in the past 24 hours has been focused upon the situation between star Fortnite Battle Royale player Turner "Tfue" Tenney and his organization of FaZe Clan, as the high-profile Twitch and YouTube personality filed a lawsuit against FaZe Clan for what the legal party of Tfue called an "oppressive" contract that allegedly violates California Law and the Talent Agency Act in addition to numerous other allegations. This lawsuit prompted an official response by FaZe Clan and Owner Ricky "Ricky" Banks where both parties defended the popular esports organization from the allegations that were brought against them by Tfue. However, it looks as though some members of the community are not pleased with the route that Tfue has taken, as the Fortnite star's YouTube subscriber count has dipped following the reveal of his lawsuit against FaZe Clan.

According to a report by Dot Esports, social media analytics website Social Blade has found that Tfue has lost approximately 20,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel following the news of his lawsuit against his organization coming to light on Monday, May 20th. With Tfue currently sitting at a total of 10,736,531 subscribers on his YouTube channel at the time of this writing, it is safe to say that the drop in numbers was not a truly tragic event for the YouTube channel of Tfue.

However, it does show that perhaps the lack of personal communication on the side of the gaming personality since the news of his lawsuit against FaZe Clan became public has not sat well with fans when compared to the much more public and engaged communication from FaZe Clan and its members regarding the high-profile lawsuit.

While the dip in subscribers for the YouTube channel for Tfue was of a very small percentage, it is the first somewhat significant drop for the Fortnite Battle Royale star on his channel with Tfue gaining an impressively steady amount of subscribers leading up to the situation between himself and FaZe Clan that has turned the esports world upside down.

Only time will tell now if Tfue will lose another significant amount of subscribers on his YouTube channel going forward, as the results of his legal battle with FaZe Clan will surely turn many fans either against or for the popular Fortnite player whenever this dispute is officially resolved.
