"This map's dog sh@#," says the San Francisco Shock's Main Tank. Super goes on to reveal that the controversial map will be in the upcoming map pool, before realizing it's not public information.

Leading the San Francisco Shock to a victory over the previously undefeated Vancouver Titans, Matthew 'Super' DeLisi seems to be able to do no wrong… that is until a stream earlier this week on his personal Twitch channel when he accidentally leaked previously undisclosed information regarding Stage Three of the Overwatch League.

Streaming to Twitch on Memorial Day, Super found themselves queued into a match on one of Overwatch’s newer maps, Paris.

“This map’s dog sh@#,” says Super on the stream, laughing. “I’m pretty sure it’s in the map pool next stage, too.”

It was at this moment, Super knew… he messed up. A wash of panic immediately hits the Main Tank’s face. His life flashes before his eyes. The worst fine he can think of comes to mind. If he were wearing pearls, you can guarantee that they would have been clutched. Super appears, for lack of a better word, shooketh.

“Wait, is that public?” he says, face going pale in the glow of his monitor. “I don’t think it’s public. Oh, sh@#.”

If this leak proves to be genuine, it appears that we’ll be seeing Paris return to Overwatch League’s Stage Three. While San Francisco has an 80% win rate on the Assault map, it’s no secret that there are those out there that think that Paris should have had a few adjustments made before making its way into the league.

The most contentious design decision is definitely the first choke. Much like Eichenwalde in its early days, there is a very, very restrictive choke, made extra difficult by a raised platform for the defenders. Especially with the addition of the new support hero, Baptiste, this encourages the defense to play a Bunker Comp, which pro players don’t find especially fun to play against.

We won’t know for sure if Super leaked the map or not, but our money is on Super at least believing that he leaked the map. We won’t know for sure until Stage Three kicks off next week, with games beginning on June 6th.
